Your Drive brand product is warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months from the date of purchase by the original consumer. This warranty reflects our confidence in the quality of our products, ensuring dependable service for years. However, it does not cover issues arising from owner misuse, negligence, or normal wear and tear. Non-durable components, such as rubber accessories, casters, and grips, which are subject to normal wear and may need periodic replacement, are also not covered. Return Policy

  1. New or Unused Products (Excluding Power Products Shipped to Residential Addresses):

    • Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase with a 15% restocking fee.
    • The product must be in its original condition and packaging, except for Bath Safety products, where the packaging must remain unopened.
    • No returns are accepted after 60 days, and opened or used hygienic products are non-returnable.

  2. New or Unused Power Products Shipped to Residential Addresses:

    • These can be returned within 30 days, but a 25% restocking fee applies.
    • The customer is responsible for return shipping and ensuring the product is in new, saleable condition.
    • Special instructions must be followed when returning products with batteries.

Used items cannot be returned but are covered under their respective warranties.

The Drive Medical Med-Aire Low Air Loss Mattress Replacement System is designed to provide superior care for pressure ulcer prevention, treatment, and healing in both home and long-term care settings. This active mattress system combines alternating pressure and low air loss technologies to optimize pressure redistribution, reduce shear and friction, and maintain a stable microclimate for the patient’s skin.

Combination Therapy for Enhanced Care
The Med-Aire system integrates alternating pressure with low air loss functions to enhance skin protection and patient comfort. The control unit offers 10-minute alternating cycles and can also be switched to static mode, providing flexible options to meet individual patient needs.

This system features 20 individual air cells that maximize immersion and envelopment, with a pillow feature included for head stability and comfort. Adjustable patient weight settings ensure proper immersion, enhancing comfort and compliance.

Advanced Safety and Convenience
The system includes audio and visual alarms to alert caregivers when air pressure is low, ensuring timely intervention. The 8" deep air cells are easily removable and can be replaced with air leakage plugs, simplifying maintenance and extending the mattress’s service life.

For emergency situations, the system is equipped with a CPR valve for rapid deflation. The tubing features an EZ Lock/Quick Release design for quick and secure disconnection, facilitating easy handling and reducing the risk of tripping hazards.
