Warranty & Return Policy
Warranty Policy
Your Balanced Aire Mattress is covered by a 5-year warranty for the mattress and a 1-year warranty for the control unit, starting from the purchase date.
Drive DeVilbiss will repair or replace defective parts or units if you notify them and get authorization first. The warranty only covers parts and labor, not shipping, handling, or disposal costs. This warranty does not cover patient wearables like cover sheets, normal wear and tear, or damage caused by misuse, accidents, or environmental factors like fire, flood, or power failure. Damage from using the mattress for patient transfer or transport is not covered. Material changes may occur due to the availability of similar raw materials. All service beyond basic maintenance must be done by Drive DeVilbiss or an approved provider.
Warranty Void If:
- The warranty is void if proof of purchase is missing, unauthorized adjustments, modifications, or repairs are made, or if the product is not used according to the User Manual.

Return Policy

New or Unused Products (Excluding Power Products Shipped to Residential Addresses):
- Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase with a 15% restocking fee.
- The product must be in its original condition and packaging, except for Bath Safety products, where the packaging must remain unopened.
- No returns are accepted after 60 days, and opened or used hygienic products are non-returnable.

New or Unused Power Products Shipped to Residential Addresses:
- These can be returned within 30 days, but a 25% restocking fee applies.
- The customer is responsible for return shipping and ensuring the product is in new, saleable condition.
- Special instructions must be followed when returning products with batteries.
Used items cannot be returned but are covered under their respective warranties.
