Your Drive brand product is warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for 18 months from the date of purchase by the original consumer. This warranty is a testament to the quality of our products, ensuring dependable service for years. However, it does not cover issues arising from owner misuse, negligence, or normal wear and tear. Non-durable components, such as rubber accessories, casters, and grips, which are subject to normal wear and may need periodic replacement, are also not covered. Return Policy

  1. New or Unused Products (Excluding Power Products Shipped to Residential Addresses):

    • Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase with a 15% restocking fee.
    • The product must be in its original condition and packaging, except for Bath Safety products, where the packaging must remain unopened.
    • No returns are accepted after 60 days, and opened or used hygienic products are non-returnable.

  2. New or Unused Power Products Shipped to Residential Addresses:

    • These can be returned within 30 days, but a 25% restocking fee applies.
    • The customer is responsible for return shipping and ensuring the product is in new, saleable condition.
    • Special instructions must be followed when returning products with batteries.

Used items cannot be returned but are covered under their respective warranties.

The Drive Medical Med-Aire Plus Defined Perimeter Low Air Loss Mattress is an advanced solution for preventing, treating, and healing pressure ulcers in home or long-term care settings. This active combination therapy system integrates alternating pressure and low air loss functions to optimize pressure redistribution, shear reduction, and microclimate control.

Combination Therapy for Superior Patient Care
The Med-Aire Plus system combines alternating pressure and low air loss to enhance skin integrity by effectively redistributing pressure and minimizing shear and friction. The digital control unit offers four cycle times and adjustable comfort weight settings, providing personalized patient care and satisfaction.

This system includes 10" deep static perimeter tubing that surrounds the mattress, preventing patient falls or entrapment, and adding an extra layer of safety.

Advanced Safety and Convenience Features
The system’s cell-on-cell designed air cells prevent "bottoming out" and provide up to 24 hours of protection during power outages. The 8" deep air cells are easily removable with quick disconnects for convenient servicing, ensuring continuous care and easy maintenance.

For emergencies, the system features a CPR valve for rapid deflation, while the EZ Lock/Quick Release tubing design allows for quick and secure disconnection. The system is also equipped with three diagnostic audio and visual alarms to alert caregivers of issues with air pressure, the system, or power.

Optimal Microclimate Management
The removable 4-way stretch polyurethane (PU) cover is fluid-resistant, low shear, and vapor permeable, helping to protect the patient’s skin from friction and moisture. This cover is designed to maintain a stable and comfortable microclimate for the patient.
