Warranty basics
Dawn House adjustable bases are covered against defects in materials and workmanship for the original purchaser only. Warranty registration may be completed through the Dawn House app, website, mailed registration form, or by calling +1 (866) 338-2838. Coverage applies only under normal residential use and becomes void if the product is misused, modified, improperly installed, serviced by unauthorized personnel, or operated outside recommended weight limits or intended environments.
Warranty length
The adjustable base includes a 2-year hassle-free warranty covering repair or replacement of defective components at the manufacturer’s discretion. Years 3 through 5 provide parts-only coverage for defective electrical and mechanical components. Dawn House health sensors include a 1-year parts, labor, and transportation warranty for functional defects under normal use.
Remedies and costs
During years 1–2, defective components may be repaired or replaced. During years 3–5, replacement parts are provided, while installation, service, and transportation costs are the purchaser’s responsibility. Covered parts include actuators, massage motors, control box, remote control, power components, mounting brackets, and structural supports. Warranty excludes normal wear, improper handling, unauthorized repairs, commercial use, and incidental or consequential damages.
Returns ▾
Return Policy
All Dawn House and Ergomotion adjustable bases are final sale and cannot be returned once shipped. Order cancellations may be accommodated prior to shipment when possible. Mattress returns require a minimum 30-day trial period and may be returned between 30 and 100 days after delivery if purchased directly through Dawn House. Pillows, bedding, parts, and accessories are final sale due to hygienic and product-specific considerations.
Refunds
Approved mattress returns within the eligible window receive a full refund once the product is received and inspected. Orders refused due to insufficient delivery space, failure to schedule delivery, or customer refusal may be subject to a 25% restocking fee. Manufacturer defects are handled under warranty service rather than standard returns.
Shipping ▾
Shipping and claims overview
Dawn House beds ship via White Glove delivery with a two-person team providing in-home placement and assembly. Customers receive tracking details once shipment is picked up and will schedule delivery within a 4-hour window. Someone 18 years or older must be present to sign for delivery. Mattresses shipped with beds follow the same service, while standalone accessories ship via FedEx.

Dawn House beds may be larger and heavier than standard bases. Customers must measure hallways, stairwells, and elevators to ensure proper delivery access. If delivery cannot be completed due to insufficient space, a 25% restocking fee will apply. Final clearance approval is determined by the White Glove delivery team and may occur before unboxing.
Filing a claim
Inspect all items carefully before signing the delivery receipt. Do not refuse delivery due to packaging wear alone, but note any visible concerns on the receipt. If physical product damage is discovered, refusal is permitted and the retailer must be notified immediately. Delivery teams may unbox outside or in a protected indoor area, and customers must ensure adequate access clearance prior to delivery.

FAQs

Can I use my existing headboard? ▾
If you have a headboard of your own, it can be used with a universal headboard bracket. The bracket can mount your existing headboard safely and securely to the base.
Can I use my existing bed frame? ▾
We do not recommend using your own bed frame, as using a frame not designed for the Dawn House bed can cause pinch point and entrapment risks. Some key features may also be incompatible. We do offer a Universal Headboard Bracket if you have an existing headboard you would like to use.
How do I connect the bed with the app? ▾
First, download the Dawn House app from the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Android) and then follow the instructions to connect your bed. A Wi-Fi and internet connection are required.
How do I know if my items will be assembled? ▾
Our free White Glove service includes delivery and assembly of your Dawn House Bed. Any additional assembly needs, such as a personal headboard, are not included.
How do I operate the bed? ▾
The Dawn House Bed can be operated using the wireless remote, voice command module, or the Dawn House App. Please refer to the product manual for detailed instructions.
How do I measure space for delivery? ▾
Dawn House beds may be larger and heavier than other bases of similar size. It is the customer's responsibility to measure hallways, stairwells, and elevators prior to delivery. Your Dawn House Bed, including mattress, will arrive together via free White Glove delivery. Accessories or mattresses purchased separately will ship via FedEx.
Can you remove my old mattress and bed? ▾
Yes. Please inform us in advance if you would like haul-away service. A $60 removal fee applies. When requested, White Glove delivery will remove and dispose of the same number of like items delivered.
Can I purchase items for delivery outside of the U.S.? ▾
We currently only ship within the United States.
What if I need new parts? ▾
Based on warranty terms, parts and service may be provided at no cost or at a prorated fee. Warranted parts include Head and Foot Actuators, Massage Motors and Housing, Control Box, Remote Control, Power Cord, Power Supply, Input Cord, Mounting Brackets, and Support Struts.
