Warranty basics
ObboMed alternating pressure mattress systems come with a manufacturer's warranty from ObboMed Group LLC. If you ordered through Morelli Medical, contact us first and we will handle the claim with ObboMed on your behalf.
Warranty length
Coverage varies by component:
  • Control unit: 2 years
  • Mattress: 2 years
  • Top cover: 1 year
Making a claim
Contact us before sending anything back, and we will walk you through the process. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims, so keep your order confirmation. Photos or video of the fault speed things up considerably. Email support@morellimedical.com or call (866) 338-2838.
Returns ▾
Return policy
You have 30 days from receiving your order to request a return, and requests made after that are declined. To be eligible, the item must be new and unused, in its original packaging, with all documents and accessories included. Returns are inspected on arrival, and the cost of any missing or damaged parts is deducted from your refund.
How to start a return
Contact us before sending anything back. Items returned without an approved return authorization cannot be accepted. Once your return is approved, it must arrive back at the manufacturer within 30 days, or the authorization expires. Return shipping is arranged and paid by you, and you will need to send us the tracking numbers. If you prefer, we can arrange return shipping for you and deduct the cost from your refund. Fees deducted from refunds
  • Original shipping cost: deducted even if your order shipped free
  • Return shipping cost: your responsibility, or deducted if we arrange it for you

Cancellations and refused deliveries
Orders can be canceled, but a 10% cancellation fee applies once an order is already being fulfilled. Custom-built items may carry a 25% cancellation fee, where cancellation is still possible. If an order has already shipped, or a delivery is refused, it is treated as a standard return, and the restocking fee and shipping costs are deducted.
Rejected returns
Returns showing obvious signs of use or damage may be rejected. If that happens, you pay the cost of shipping the item back to you, and items whose return shipping is not paid within 7 days will be disposed of.
Refunds
Once your return reaches the manufacturer, it is inspected and a credit is issued. Allow up to 30 days from the item's arrival for the refund to be processed, plus whatever time your bank or card issuer needs to post it.

ObboMed orders ship via UPS Ground.
Lead times
Orders usually ship the same day or the next business day. Built-to-order models, such as the UtilityAir OB-1600, take considerably longer, so call us for a current lead time before ordering one of these, especially if you are working to a discharge date.
Delivery time
Once your order ships, UPS Ground delivery usually takes 1–5 business days, depending on your location.
Filing a claim
If your order arrives damaged, contact us within 72 hours of delivery, because damage reported after that cannot be claimed. Inspect the packaging before the driver leaves where you can, and photograph any damage to the outer packaging as well as the contents. The OB-3600 is the entry point into ObboMed's UltraAir range, and it gives up nothing that matters clinically: alternating pressure, dynamic low air loss at 23 LPM, and lateral rotation to 40°, with the same patented "Easy Go" bedpan and shampoo functions and the same inflatable guardrails as the models above it. What it leaves out is comfort equipment — no massagers, no warmer — so it delivers the core therapies for the least money.

Who it's for

Long-term care, hospital and hospice settings, and home caregiving. ObboMed states the system is intended for individuals at medium to high risk of pressure sores, stages I to IV.

For the caregiver

The patented "Easy Go" functions deflate specific cells in about twenty seconds — under the hips for a bedpan, at the head for a shampoo basin. One person, one button, no transfer. Included on this model exactly as on the OB-3650.

If the power fails

A cell-on-cell structure keeps the lower layer inflated for up to 24 hours during an outage, with audio and visual alerts while the air hose stays connected.

The mattress is 80″ long by 36″ wide, inflating to between 10″ and 14″ deep depending on the function running. It sits on an existing bed frame — the frame, bedpan and shampoo basin are not included. 01 · Three Therapies

Alternating pressure, low air loss and rotation

Alternating pressure cycles the air cells on a 10–40 minute cycle so no area of skin carries continuous load. Dynamic low air loss passes 23 litres per minute through the surface, with an 820 L airflow fan, to draw heat and moisture away. Lateral rotation moves the body itself. The 50 LPM pump is the strongest in ObboMed's range and identical across all three UltraAir models — nothing in the therapy is reduced on this system.

02 · "Easy Go" Functions

In-bed toileting and hair washing, no transfer

Included in full on this model. Press one button and four air cells beneath the hips deflate in about twenty seconds, leaving a recessed opening that takes a bedpan; press again and the surface restores. The shampoo function does the same at the head section for a wash basin. Both patented functions eliminate a transfer — protecting fragile skin and turning a two-person job into a one-person job. Bedpan and shampoo basin are not included.

03 · Rotation

15°, 25° or 40°, on a timer you set

15° self-lateral rotation runs continuously; 25° turns left, right or automatically; 40° gives a full lateral turn, on intervals from 10 minutes to 2 hours. At 40° the sinking feature keeps the patient centred: the surface drops 4″ while the guardrails rise 4″, creating an 8″ soft-sided well. Angles and intervals should follow the treating clinician's instructions.

04 · Safety

Soft guardrails, and a mattress that holds air

Patented inflatable air-filled guardrails raise and lower 4″ at the press of a button — soft-sided rather than metal, with a mid-section opening for entry and exit. The cell-on-cell base provides up to 24 hours of outage protection. Air cells are TPU and nylon, high-frequency heat-sealed against spills, and the whole system is latex-free, lead-free and mercury-free. Fowler seating support maintains redistribution when the head of the bed is raised.

05 · What This Model Leaves Out

No massager, no warmer — and nothing else

The OB-3600 does not include the four vibration massagers found on the OB-3620, or the integrated body warmer found on the OB-3650. Everything else — pump output, low air loss, rotation, "Easy Go" functions, guardrails, outage protection, Fowler support — is the same across all three. The cover is a German-made antimicrobial fabric, machine washable and flame retardant.

Fit, capacity and returns

  • No massager or warmer on this model. If either is part of the comfort plan, the OB-3620 adds massagers and the OB-3650 adds both.
  • The bed frame, bedpan and shampoo basin are not included. The mattress is 80″ × 36″ — measure your frame before ordering.
  • Medical mattresses cannot be returned once opened, for hygiene reasons.
  • Inspect the packaging on arrival and report any damage within 72 hours of delivery — freight claims cannot be filed after that window.

No massager or warmer: the OB-3600 delivers the same three therapies, rotation angles and patented caregiver functions as the rest of the UltraAir range, without the comfort equipment. The OB-3620 adds four vibration massagers; the OB-3650 adds massagers and an integrated body warmer.

Weight capacity: 660 lb (300 kg) is the figure in ObboMed's published specification. Some third-party listings quote 800 lb; we publish the manufacturer's number. If the patient is approaching 660 lb, call us on (866) 338-2838 before ordering.
