Warranty basics
ObboMed alternating pressure mattress systems come with a manufacturer's warranty from ObboMed Group LLC. If you ordered through Morelli Medical, contact us first and we will handle the claim with ObboMed on your behalf.
Warranty length
Coverage varies by component:
  • Control unit: 2 years
  • Mattress: 2 years
  • Top cover: 1 year
Making a claim
Contact us before sending anything back, and we will walk you through the process. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims, so keep your order confirmation. Photos or video of the fault speed things up considerably. Email support@morellimedical.com or call (866) 338-2838.
Returns ▾
Return policy
You have 30 days from receiving your order to request a return, and requests made after that are declined. To be eligible, the item must be new and unused, in its original packaging, with all documents and accessories included. Returns are inspected on arrival, and the cost of any missing or damaged parts is deducted from your refund.
How to start a return
Contact us before sending anything back. Items returned without an approved return authorization cannot be accepted. Once your return is approved, it must arrive back at the manufacturer within 30 days, or the authorization expires. Return shipping is arranged and paid by you, and you will need to send us the tracking numbers. If you prefer, we can arrange return shipping for you and deduct the cost from your refund. Fees deducted from refunds
  • Original shipping cost: deducted even if your order shipped free
  • Return shipping cost: your responsibility, or deducted if we arrange it for you

What cannot be returned

Cancellations and refused deliveries
Orders can be canceled, but a 10% cancellation fee applies once an order is already being fulfilled. Custom-built items may carry a 25% cancellation fee, where cancellation is still possible. If an order has already shipped, or a delivery is refused, it is treated as a standard return, and the restocking fee and shipping costs are deducted.
Rejected returns
Returns showing obvious signs of use or damage may be rejected. If that happens, you pay the cost of shipping the item back to you, and items whose return shipping is not paid within 7 days will be disposed of.
Refunds
Once your return reaches the manufacturer, it is inspected and a credit is issued. Allow up to 30 days from the item's arrival for the refund to be processed, plus whatever time your bank or card issuer needs to post it.

ObboMed orders ship via UPS Ground.
Lead times
Orders usually ship the same day or the next business day. Built-to-order models, such as the UtilityAir OB-1600, take considerably longer, so call us for a current lead time before ordering one of these, especially if you are working to a discharge date.
Delivery time
Once your order ships, UPS Ground delivery usually takes 1–5 business days, depending on your location.
Filing a claim
If your order arrives damaged, contact us within 72 hours of delivery, because damage reported after that cannot be claimed. Inspect the packaging before the driver leaves where you can, and photograph any damage to the outer packaging as well as the contents. The OB-2650 is ObboMed's low dB model — the same three therapies, patented caregiver functions, vibration massagers and body warmer as the flagship UltraAir, with a control unit engineered for quieter operation and a comfort-focused 15 LPM low air loss system. It exists for the home, hospice or bedroom setting where pump noise would otherwise be the reason a family stops running the therapy at night.

Who it's for

Home care and hospice above all, plus private hospital rooms and long-term care where sleep quality matters. ObboMed states the system is intended for individuals at medium to high risk of pressure sores, stages I to IV.

For the caregiver

The patented "Easy Go" functions deflate specific cells in about twenty seconds — under the hips for a bedpan, at the head for a shampoo basin. One person, one button, no transfer. Included in full on this model.

Comfort included

The OB-2650 includes both the vibration massagers and the integrated body warmer as standard — the same comfort package as the top-of-range OB-3650.

PremiumAir or UltraAir

Quieter operation, or higher airflow

This is a real trade. The OB-2650 runs 15 LPM low air loss and is built for quiet operation; the OB-3650 UltraAir runs 23 LPM — noticeably more airflow — but is not the low dB model. If moisture management is the clinical priority (heavy perspiration, incontinence, an existing wound where microclimate matters), choose the UltraAir. 01 · Low dB Design

Built to run quietly, all night

The model's reason to exist: the control unit is engineered as a low dB design for quieter operation than the equivalent UltraAir systems. Someone in bed fifteen or more hours a day hears that pump continuously, and in a home or hospice setting noise is often why a family stops running the therapy at night. A quieter unit is a system that stays switched on.

02 · Three Therapies

Alternating pressure, low air loss and rotation

Alternating pressure cycles the air cells so no area of skin carries continuous load. Low air loss at 15 LPM, with an 820 L airflow fan, draws heat and moisture away to keep the surface dry. Lateral rotation moves the body itself. The 15 LPM figure is the honest trade against the UltraAir's 23 LPM: less airflow means a quieter unit, and less aggressive moisture management.

03 · "Easy Go" Functions

In-bed toileting and hair washing, no transfer

Press one button and four air cells beneath the hips deflate in about twenty seconds, leaving a recessed opening that takes a bedpan; press again and the surface restores. The shampoo function does the same at the head section for a wash basin. Both patented functions eliminate a transfer — protecting fragile skin, and sparing the lone family caregiver the one task that would otherwise need a second person. Bedpan and shampoo basin are not included.

04 · Rotation

15°, 25° or 40°, quietly

15° self-lateral rotation runs as a slow wave that shifts weight without waking anyone — a function that pairs particularly well with a quiet pump. 25° turns left, right or automatically, and 40° gives a full lateral turn. At the larger angles the sinking feature keeps the patient centred: the surface drops while the guardrails rise, forming a soft-sided well. Angles and intervals should follow the treating clinician's instructions.

05 · Comfort & Safety

Massager, warmer, guardrails and held air

The OB-2650 includes both the vibration massager and the integrated body warmer — the same comfort package as the flagship OB-3650. Patented inflatable air-filled guardrails raise and lower at the press of a button, soft-sided rather than metal. The cell-on-cell base keeps the lower layer inflated for up to 24 hours in a power cut, with audio and visual alerts, and Fowler seating support maintains redistribution when the head of the bed is raised.

  • Low air loss runs at 15 LPM on this model, against 23 LPM on the UltraAir range. If moisture management is the clinical priority, the OB-3650 is the higher-airflow option.
  • The bed frame, bedpan and shampoo basin are not included. Measure your frame before ordering.
