Full spectrum means all three infrared wavelengths — near, mid, and far — delivered through eight heaters while holding a near zero EMF standard. Add a Himalayan salt bar, chromotherapy lighting, red light therapy, and a bronze glass door, and this is the top of Golden Designs' indoor range.

Most infrared saunas run far infrared alone. The 8000 Reserve Series combines 3 PureTech™ Near Zero EMF far infrared carbon panels with 5 near infrared elements, so a single session covers the full spectrum rather than one band of it. EMF measures under 2mG when seated two to three inches from the panels.

Built from natural reforested Canadian Hemlock and sized for four people, it assembles in about an hour with two adults — no contractor, no permits. It ships free, flat in three boxes, and is designed for indoor use.

Features

Red Light Therapy

This sauna includes a built-in red light therapy feature. Light in the red and near-infrared spectrum sits in a wavelength range of roughly 620–660nm, which penetrates body tissue over a short distance.

Red light is absorbed primarily at the skin. Near-infrared light travels deeper into the body. Research into the red and near-infrared spectrum has explored effects on blood cell activity, the oxygen-carrying capacity of blood, and tissue recovery — which is why the modality has become a common companion to infrared heat.

In this cabin it is integrated into the chromotherapy lighting system rather than sold as a separate panel, so it runs as part of a normal session.

Specifications

Before you buy: measure your space allowing 5" for the roof overhang, confirm the ceiling clears 75", and check that two separate 15 amp circuits are available. This sauna is rated for indoor use only — a garage is acceptable if it is protected from the weather, and the unit can sit on any flat surface including carpet.
