Eighteen inches of growing room, in one frame
The Bantam Small is the school-age size in EasyStand's paediatric range, built for children roughly 36″ to 54″ tall and up to 100 lb — eighteen inches of growth, roughly early primary through the end of elementary school. It is a sit-to-stand frame, and with the supine option it reclines 0–90°. An 11″ to 16″ seat depth range and a 2.5″ to 8.5″ knee pad range mean the frame is re-set as the child grows rather than replaced.

Transfers

Sit to stand, and supine as well
The child transfers in seated and the frame raises them — safer for the caregiver, gentler on the child — and can stop at any point for a partial stand. The supine option adds a 0–90° recline, so positions run from 90-90 sitting through vertical standing to lying flat. Alternating positions is what lets a child tolerate a longer session.

02 · Lift Mechanism
Gas spring as standard, hydraulic or powered as options
The base unit uses a smooth, unpowered gas spring lift. A manual hydraulic actuator and the Pow'r Up electric lift are available for caregivers standing a child several times a day, and a gas spring lockout prevents the child releasing the lift themselves. Which mechanism suits depends on the caregiver as much as the child.

03 · Mobile Option
Standing, and moving under their own power
The Mobile option adds handrims and a drive chain so the child can propel the stander themselves — moving across a classroom at eye level with their friends, not just being placed in a position. Push rims sit around 31″ from the floor with fore-aft adjustment, wheel locks are quarter-turn, and the footprint with Mobile fitted is 24″ × 38″. Note: Mobile is not available together with Supine, trays, or front swivel casters.

Fit, configuration and safe use
Configuration must come from the treating therapist. A stander without the correct support components can be unsafe to use. Send us the recommendation and we will build to it.
Weight limit is 100 lb (45 kg), height range approximately 36″ to 54″. Close to either limit, consider the Bantam Medium — call us and we will check the fit.
Read the instructions for use and assembly manual in full before first use, and follow the transfer method they describe.
Frame footprint is 23″ × 33.5″ standard, or 30″ × 38″ with swivel casters; the base unit weighs 54 lb. Check the space and doorways it needs to pass through.
Standing programmes should be prescribed and supervised by the child's physician, physical therapist or occupational therapist. Morelli Medical supplies equipment and does not provide clinical assessment, prescribe therapy, or advise on standing protocols.

Warranty ▾
Warranty basics
Altimate Medical, the US manufacturer of EasyStand and Zing standers based in Morton, Minnesota, warrants its products against defects in materials and workmanship. The same limited warranty applies to both the EasyStand and Zing ranges. It is extended to the original purchaser only. Morelli Medical is an authorised Altimate Medical supplier — so warranty service runs through us.

The warranty period starts on the date the product ships from Altimate Medical, not the date it is delivered.
How warranty repairs work
Any product Altimate Medical confirms is defective within the warranty period will be repaired or replaced, at Altimate Medical's option. Repair or replacement is the sole remedy under the warranty. Labour for installing replacement parts is not included. Freight to send a product back to the factory is paid by the purchaser, and Altimate Medical prepays the return freight to you. Never send a product to the factory without prior authorisation — contact us first.
What is not covered
The warranty does not apply where:
the serial number has been removed or defaced
the product has been subject to negligence, abuse, misuse, or improper operation, maintenance or storage
damage is beyond Altimate Medical's control
the product has been modified without Altimate Medical's written consent, including through unauthorised parts or attachments
problems arise from normal wear or from not following the instructions
Adding parts not made by Altimate Medical, or parts that do not meet original equipment specifications, voids the warranty. Altimate Medical decides whether a claim is covered, and is not liable for consequential or incidental damages.
Making a claim
Contact us first and we will walk you through it. Have your order number, the serial number from the identification label on the stander, and photos or video of the fault ready — it speeds the process considerably. Email support@morellimedical.com or call (866) 338-2838.
Returns ▾
Return policy
You have 30 days from receiving your order to request a return. To be eligible, the product must be in new or like-new condition, in its original packaging, with the serial number label intact and legible. Keep the box and packaging until you are sure the stander is right for you.
How to start a return
Contact us before sending anything back. Every return needs a Return Authorisation number from Altimate Medical, and we arrange this for you. Once your return is approved, we will send you instructions for shipping it to Altimate Medical in Morton, Minnesota. Items sent back without an approved return authorisation cannot be accepted. Inspection and refunds
Altimate Medical inspects every returned product and determines whether it is in new or like-new condition. If a product arrives back damaged, the deduction can exceed the 20% restocking fee. Special-order parts and accessories that are not stock items cannot be refunded.
Damaged or incorrect items
Inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If anything is defective, damaged, or not what you ordered, contact us immediately so we can put it right. Where the error is on our side or the manufacturer's, the return is collected at no cost and refunded in full, including shipping. Photographs of the packaging and the contents help considerably.
Before you order
A stander has to fit the person using it. Model, size, the user's height and weight, and the support package all matter, and getting one wrong is the most common reason for a return. Altimate Medical advises that standing equipment be used under the guidance of a physician, with the standing programme monitored by the attending therapist. Shipping ▾
Shipping overview
EasyStand and Zing standers ship directly from Altimate Medical in Morton, Minnesota. Each stander ships with its owner's manual, which includes instructions for assembly, adjustment and operation.
Lead times
Standers typically ship in 7–10 business days, but lead times can extend to around 3 weeks depending on the model and configuration. Replacement parts usually ship within 24–48 hours. If you need your stander by a particular date, call us before ordering and we will confirm the current lead time for your specific order.
Filing a claim
Carriers accept liability for loss or damage once they collect the shipment, so claims have to be filed with the carrier. Inspect the shipment before the driver leaves, note any damage on the delivery receipt, and ask the driver to sign to acknowledge it. If damage is not obvious until you unpack, contact us straight away — hidden damage must be reported within 5 days of delivery. Email support@morellimedical.com or call (866) 338-2838 with your full name, order number and photos of the box and the contents.
