Warranty
AmeriGlide, Inc. offers a Limited Warranty for its range of mobility and accessibility products, ensuring they are free from material and workmanship defects under normal use conditions. The warranty specifics vary by product type:
- Batteries: 30 days.
- Component parts, including circuit boards: 2 years.
- Drive train (motor and gearbox), gear rack, pinion gear: 5 years.
- Reconditioned stair lifts: Drive train 3 years, all component parts 1 year.
- Used stair lifts: Part failure 1 year.
- Bath lifts: 1 year.
- Evacuation products (EVAC+CHAIRS): 15 years, with expendable components 1 year.
- Lift chairs: 1 year in-home parts and service.
- Mobility scooters: 1 year parts and in-home labor, with extended options available.
- Pool lifts: 3 years, excluding certain parts like battery pack and seat which are 1 year.
- Reconditioned vertical platform lifts: Component parts 1 year, drive train 3 years.
- Walk-in tubs: Lifetime on door seal, 10 years tub unit, 5 years pump and motor, 1 year faucet.
- Wheelchair lifts: 3 years transferable, except Econo Wheelchair & Scooter Lift which is 1 year and non-transferable.
The warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship but does not include labor costs. It is non-transferable and requires proof of purchase for service. Misuse, abuse, unauthorized alterations, or non-standard usage may void the warranty. Warranty services must be arranged through the dealer from whom the product was purchased, with potential additional charges for labor, service, or travel not covered by AmeriGlide. Replacement parts must be genuine AmeriGlide parts to be covered.
This warranty provides specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from state to state. The warranty is limited to the replacement or repair of defective parts, with no liability for incidental or consequential damages exceeding the purchase price.
