Warranty

Merits Health Products will repair or replace items with manufacturing defects after inspection by an authorized representative. Parts bought outside of warranty have 30 days to report defects.

  • Items with a 5-year warranty: Frame.
  • Items with an 18-month warranty: Joystick, charger, gearbox, transaxle, electrical harness, motor brake assembly.
  • Items with a 13-month warranty: Seat post, caster forks, power seat actuator, metal seating frame, caster beam, anti-tipper forks, armrest bracket (metal part only), batteries (31ah or above).
  • Items with a 6-month warranty: Bearings, swivel seat mechanism, front riggins, batteries (less than 31ah supplied by Merits Health).

Warranty exclusions: Tires and tubes, upholstery (including seating/arm pads/padding), plastic and rubber parts, painted surfaces (including shrouds/fenders), fuses and bulbs, battery cases, motor brushes, and brake pads.

The warranty becomes invalid for parts damaged from natural events, loss, theft, commercial use, neglect, improper operation, or maintenance. It also becomes invalid if units are altered or serviced by unauthorized agencies or if the serial number is removed or defaced.

Warranty service: Merits Health Products may replace defective parts with new or refurbished ones. Customers or dealers are responsible for labor, service calls, transportation, and installation costs.

This warranty gives specific rights, and you may have other rights depending on your state.

Warranty basics
Power Plate® branded products include a limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Warranty coverage is generally one year from the date of purchase unless different terms are provided in the product guide, warranty documentation, or optional extended warranty materials.
Warranty length
Standard limited warranty coverage is typically one year from the purchase date, unless the product documentation states otherwise. Optional extended warranties, if offered, are governed by the specific extended warranty documentation.
Remedies and costs
During the warranty period, the manufacturer may, at its discretion, repair or replace the product, or refund the purchase price if a covered defect is confirmed. Damage resulting from improper use, improper storage or handling, lack of reasonable maintenance, abuse, neglect, catastrophe, product modification, or unauthorized repair is not covered. The repair, replacement, or refund remedy is the exclusive remedy under the limited warranty.

Return window
For Power Plate® branded products purchased through the manufacturer’s website, returns are generally accepted within 30 calendar days from the delivery date, subject to the return policy terms.
Refunds and fees
Refunds are typically issued for the purchase price, minus shipping and a 15% restocking fee, in accordance with the return policy. To request a return, customers are generally instructed to email customer care and follow the return instructions provided.
